This release is between you, the guest, and Toni Holcombe, who runs Tell Me About a Time (the "show"). It explains what you allow the show to do with your interview.
1. Who can sign
You must be 18 or older to sign this release.
2. Recording
You allow the show to record your interview in audio and video.
3. Editing
The show may edit the recording. This includes cutting length, removing mistakes, and adding music, intros, and graphics. The show will not edit your words to change their meaning.
4. Publishing
You allow the show to publish the episode, in full or in part. This includes:
- Podcast and video platforms, such as Spotify, Apple Podcasts, and YouTube
- This website
- Social media, such as LinkedIn
- Short clips, quotes, and transcripts
The show decides if and when to publish. The show does not have to publish your episode.
5. Your name, photo, and profile
You allow the show to use your name, voice, image, and photo with the episode and to promote it. You also allow the show to publish your guest profile on this website. The profile shows your name, photo, industry, role, city and state, work styles, LinkedIn link, and episode link. If you tell the show you got a job, your profile shows a "Hired" badge.
6. Ownership
The show owns the recording and the edited episode. You keep ownership of your own ideas, experiences, and photo.
7. What you agree to
- You will tell the truth as you know it.
- You will not share confidential information from a current or past employer.
- You will not make false statements about a real person or company.
- You have the right to share the photo you give the show.
8. No payment
You are not paid to be on the show. You do not pay to be on the show.
9. No promise of a job
The show is not a staffing agency or recruiter. Being on the show does not promise interviews, job offers, or any hiring result.
10. Removal requests
You can ask the show to remove your guest profile at any time. The show will remove it from this website within [30] days.
You can also ask the show to remove your episode. [Choose one: The show will remove it from the platforms it controls within [30] days. / The show will review the request and decide.] The show cannot remove copies that other people made or shared.
11. How long this lasts
This release has no end date. It stays in effect unless you and the show agree in writing to end it, or you use your removal rights in section 10.
12. Law that applies
Indiana law governs this release.
13. How you agree
You agree to this release when you check the box on the application. [Ask your attorney if the show should also get a signed or confirmed copy before each recording.]
