Tell Me About a Time is a podcast run by Toni Holcombe. This page explains what data this site collects, why, and what you can do about it.
What we collect when you apply
When you apply to be a guest, we collect:
- Your name, email, and LinkedIn profile URL
- Your city and state
- Your industry, the role you want, and the work styles you are open to
- Your answers to the application questions
- The photo you upload
What we collect when you visit
This site uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits. It does not use cookies. It does not track you across other sites. It shows us totals, such as page views and which pages people visit.
How we use your data
- To review your application and contact you about the show.
- To build your public guest profile, if you are on the show.
We do not sell your data. We do not share it with advertisers.
What becomes public
If you are on the show, your guest profile is public. It shows your name, photo, industry, role, city and state, work styles, LinkedIn link, and a link to your episode. If you get a job, your profile shows a "Hired" badge.
Your email and your answers to the application questions stay private.
If you apply but are not on the show, nothing about you becomes public.
Where your data is stored
Your data is stored with Cloudflare, which hosts this site. Only Toni can see applications. A login protects that access.
How long we keep your data
We keep your application and photo until you ask us to delete them.
Your choices
You can ask us to:
- Show you the data we have about you
- Fix data that is wrong
- Delete your data
- Remove your public guest profile

Deleting your data removes your application and your guest profile from this site. Removing a published episode is covered in the guest release.
Age
You must be 18 or older to apply. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If we learn that we did, we delete it.
Links to other sites
This site links to LinkedIn, Spotify, Apple Podcasts, and YouTube. Those sites have their own privacy policies.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the last change.
